We have a lift-off!
It took us quite a lot of nerves, sweat and phone calls to people in high places, but today at 16:00 I finally received my new visum. Thankfully, today was a working day in exchange for May 1. If they hadn't issued it today, we would have been stuck here at least until May 3.
So, if all is well, we'll arrive in Belgium on April 29 at 23:00 and leave on May 30. I'm not going to tell you how much extra money we were forced to spend in order to make it to Belgium in time, but believe me: it's a lot! And all this thanks to that stupid cow at the 'competent organs'!
Anyway, what counts is that we finally made it and that we can now all enjoy each other's company!

No, we did not move back to Belgium. We got back to Kemerovo on June 1. Due to circumstances, I haven't been able to update my blog yet.
