Job Hunting
Most of you don't know this yet, so here's the latest news: I'm looking for a new job. I gave up my old one for a number of reasons, the main ones being that teaching wasn't really my thing and that I couldn't stand the atmosphere and the staff's attitude towards me anymore. You might call me a fool for leaving one job without having another to fall back on. True, but at least, I'm a proud fool and, like I said, I'm looking.
At the moment I'm negotiating about some translation work and I've addressed a number of people, who've promised to help me find work or introduce me to others.
Also, I've taken up tutoring, which is much better paid than teaching. My first tutoring experience should take place somewhere next week. I should have more information about the other projects next week as well.
No other news as yet. Autumn is slowly changing into Winter and the trees are displaying their wonderful red and yellow foliage.
I'm thinking of writing some more about Kemerovo itself soon, just to give people a clearer idea of where I live.
