My stuff has arrived
Since DHL was delivering my belongings at 2 pm and I didn't have that many roubles, we spent two hours trying to find a bank with good exchange rates and willing to exchange so large an amount of money. One bank had very good rates and after a few phone calls and a half-hour wait the lady at the register was willing to exchange 1000€s. Since that wasn't enough and we couldn't find another bank with decent rates, we bought the equivalent of another 1000€s from a man standing outside the bank. Incidentally, it was the same man that was before us at the other bank!
When my trunks were delivered, they turned out to be pretty bruised. To my surprise, apart from the metal thingies (don't know the name in English) I used to keep them shut, nothing seemed to be missing from them.
