I'm there!

After saying goodbye to my parents and Katrien, I had an uneventful flight to and a rather boring wait in Moscow. As was planned, Olga, Dima and Sergey picked me up at the airport and took me to my new residence. I must admit that, even though I knew Olga's apartment would be small, I was a bit taken aback when I got there. Compared to my old apartment, this place was tiny. Cosy, but small. How would I ever get all of my belongings in there?
One thing I didn't have to worry about was registering with OVIR. Olga and Svetlana (the girl at Highlight in charge of such things) took care of all that for me.
What I did do was contact DHL in Novosibirsk in order to find out when they would deliver my belongings and how much it would cost me. They said they'd deliver it the next day for half the original cost.
I didn't really do much the rest of the day: some unpacking and a lot of eating and resting.
