I am delivering the washing machine, the vacuum cleaner and the microwave today.
I still haven't had any reactions to my add about the furniture. I guess I really am asking too much for the couch and the dining room furniture. There was one woman who called for the bedroom, but that had already been sold anyway.

I went to the post office yesterday to have my mail sent to my parents' house as of December 12.

I called Olga yesterday. First I used a Unity telephone card, but it was a big pain and I realized it's not worth the trouble using one of those with a mobile phone. It's a lot easier to just go to one of the phone shops not too far from here. It's only 15 cents per minute to make a call to Russia anyway. I'll be using the Unity cards again when I'm at my parents' place. With one of those you can call one and a half hour for 5 € if you use it with a stationary phone. Add to that about 4 € charges for the local call you're making and it's still quite cheap.

Anyway, Olga told me that they're working hard to get my paperwork in order, that I have to check with the consulate which injections I have to have and that I would have to register in Kemerovo at a different address than hers, because otherwise she might have trouble going abroad afterwards. Weird.
I wonder how that will affect me? Won't some official come calling at the address I'm supposed to be living at to see whether I really do live there?
But we'll worry about that later.
